Petite Pearl Lowe has teamed up with Molly Gunn's Selfish Mother and The FMLY Store to create a set of gorgeous Limited Edition sequin capes in support of Tommy's Charity.
This set of beautiful capes come in a range of colours and is handmade in Somerset by a team of seamstresses. The cape is aimed at superhero boys and girls from age 2-12 years.
Tommy's is dedicated to funding research into pregnancy problems and providing pregnancy health information to parents and £10 from every cape will be donated to this awesome charity.
Pearl Lowe, founder of Petite Pearl Lowe says,
“I’ve admired Molly and what she’s achieved with Selfish Mother for a long time. She’s a local girl and I often pop into her FMLY Shop in Bruton, so when she approached me about working together, I jumped at the chance! We brainstormed some ideas and came up with a capsule collection of sequin capes in a variety of colourways. The cape is our best-selling item and is the ultimate dress up piece. I love the idea of fashion being able to give back both in terms of supporting people in need, but also it's great to be able to make the capes at a more affordable price point. I’m really pleased with the quality of the capes, which we have been able to make with our local seamstresses. I’m sure kids will have great fun wearing them!”
The 4 colourways: pink, green, red and turquoise are all bright and beautiful and are perfect for playing dress up. We absolutely love them here at Little Flea.
Molly Gunn, founder of Selfish Mother says,
"I am extremely happy to be collaborating with Pearl Lowe on this fantastic range of sequin capes to be worn by mini superheroes. Pearl's designs have been worn by a host of famous faces, and it's brilliant to be able to bring her signature style to a new audience at an affordable price point, sold exclusively at The FMLY Store - online and Bruton. What's ace, is that as well as looking brilliant, £10 from each cape sold will support Tommy's The Baby Charity who do amazing research into pregnancy loss. The capes have been created locally in Somerset, as unique dressing-up pieces which can be treasured and worn by children for years to come. As with all our #GoodTees, they are the antithesis to throw-away fashion - not only do they look good, but the supply chain is good, and they support a good cause, too!"
The capes will retail at £60 each with £10 from each pair donated to Tommy's. The collection will be available exclusively at The FMLY Store in Bruton and online from June 1st, but you can pre-order here.
